Ecommerce package details
Here are the details of the eCommerce design and hosting package:
- Your site templates will be designed to your requirements, around our collection of standard templates. This gets you online faster than normally possible.
- Your site will be hosted on one of our fully managed Virtual servers (with 512MB of RAM). If your site will be low volume, talk to us about shared hosting, it's cheaper!
- An SSL certificate will be installed - although you will need to provide that, which we can arrange for you - to ensure secure transactions (makes your site https.
- We will give you basic taining in OS Commerce, the ecommerce package we use. We'll help you get your first few products online.
- A minimum term of 2 years is required for this package. For options, please contact us.
Because we do need to make a profit, here's what's not included:
- If your site requires a bigger virtual machine due to traffic, there will be an increased monthly cost. However these machines handle most small business sites.
- The SSL certificate. While recommended, if you are using a 3rd party credit cad provider they are not strictly necessary, although highly recommended for the peace of mind of your customers.
- You will need to sign up for your own merchant account. Talk to us for a list of providers who provide OS Commerce plugins. For low volume sites there are also cheaper alternatives. Again, talk to us.
- Site graphics are not included. We will re-use your existing company graphics. However, we're happy to recommend a graphic designer!
